I’ve been suffering from bites (rash and intense itching) since day one. I thought they were mosquito bites, but after several days (and nights) of testing, it turned out to be bed bugs.
Sometimes I don’t like expeditions.

Today (30th Sept.) I will be on 80m at 5:30 UTC to work Western Europe…
Due to limited luggage (only 60kg) and limited space in my QTH I am using the same telescopic mast support for 40/60/80m. I have to rebuild antenna configuration every week:

Few broken parts of my antenna system support but finally on the air.

Some good and some bad news about Qatar Airlines:
They have one of the best food on board I expirienced during my travels.
in Doha transfer Security service refused to take my radios as hand luggage. They considered it to be walkie-talkie which is forbidden on airplanes. Their first solution was to confiscate them. After 2 hours requests and pleas they allowed to repack it to check-in luggage.
I am afraid to travel with transceivers back home. In hand luggage it can be confiscated in worse case, in check-in luggage ,I am afraid, it can be damaged as it was many times before…
For the most difficult route to Central Europe – short path and long path:

Lausikula Chambres D’hôtes will be my QTH during stay on Willis Island. It is garden around house and I have promise from the host that I can put up antennas for my radio operation. Thank you Manuel !

Welcome to my new adventure. This is Wallis Island amateur radio DXpedition. I hope you will enjoy it !
